During the xmas holidays I collected images of take away coffee cups. I was interested in what the companies chose to display on their coffee cups.
Mcdonalds
The McDonalds coffee cup surprised me as it was not in the exact same style as the rest of the menu. I think the coffee cup design is more sophisticated than a cup for a soft drink. McDonalds also offer a loyalty card which is part of the cup. This is a major selling point as it encourages people to buy their coffee in order to gain a free cup.
Greggs
The Greggs coffee prides itself on being fair-trade the cup is covered on one side with the words ' freshly ground fair-trade coffee'.
